About Us – Tilia Stay

Three smaller (45m2) but spacious and attractive fully furnished Tilia Stay apartments are located in the very heart of the slovenian capital in brand new building called Situla. With its large rooms, panoramic windows with triple glazing and large balconies with view the apartments provide high quality and comfort of living. All apartments are modern furnished and are equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay – modern kitchens, comfortable sofas, flat screen TV’s, high speed Wi-Fi connection, cosy bedrooms.

But because we are aware that modern apartment just by itself won’t make your stay there worthwhile, the team of Tilia Stay is trying hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our goal when choosing the name for our apartments was to create the name which will on the one hand represent Slovenia, but on the other hand we wanted that it also reflects the apartments themselves. So we found the perfect name for our apartments – Tilia Stay. Tilia is latin name for linden (also known as lime and basswood). The linden tree is a symbol of the Slovenian nation, although Slovenian folk tradition lacks any real arguments to support this, especially since the role and importance of the linden tree stretch as far back as the period before there was any real sense of national awareness. However the linden tree is also a tree of friendship, love, peace and in that way it represents something warm, homely and friendly. We are doing our best to make our guests to belong and feel like home. During the time of your stay at least one of us is always availiable to help you with your needs, but we have also prepared some tips and recommendations for optimal leisure time both for Ljubljana as well as Slovenia.
